One of the key moves in the game even takes a page from Nintendo’s adventure series. There are also plenty of secret rooms, and areas that are hidden behind walls that must be clipped through. While there is no massive overarching map that you’re trying to navigate, the stages do have branching paths. This is where GUNLORD X can even feel a lot like a Metroidvania.
